Sola Studio provides business services including review services, UX or messaging notes, planning and structure support, implementation support, prototype / MVP support, ongoing support, and related business support services.
Depending on the engagement, these may include:
The exact scope, shared work output, exclusions, review flow, and start conditions depend on the service selected and the individual project.
Where prices are shown on the website, they are provided as guide prices unless stated otherwise.
Final pricing is confirmed after review of the project scope, available materials, source material readiness, expected timing, confirmation process, shared work output, and working arrangements.
Quotes may vary depending on factors such as:
For business clients outside Japan, payment is generally handled through Stripe or another online payment method specified by Sola Studio, unless otherwise agreed.
For ongoing support, higher-value engagements, client-side purchasing or compliance requirements, or other relevant circumstances, Sola Studio may specify Deel, bank transfer, international remittance, or another payment method or platform on a case-by-case basis.
The applicable payment route will be indicated in the relevant quote, proposal, statement of work, contract, payment request, or payment instructions.
For one-off or scoped projects, payment may be requested in advance or in agreed stages.
For ongoing support, payment is generally handled on a monthly basis or as otherwise agreed.
Specific payment terms, including any upfront payment, staged payment structure, monthly billing cycle, or payment deadline, will be set out in the relevant quote, proposal, statement of work, contract, or other individual agreement.
Unless otherwise stated, prices and fees shown or quoted by Sola Studio do not include applicable taxes, duties, withholding taxes, Japanese consumption tax, VAT, GST, bank charges, remittance fees, payment processing fees, or similar payment-related costs.
For services supplied to non-Japan business clients, Sola Studio may not charge Japanese consumption tax where the transaction qualifies as an export-exempt transaction under Japanese consumption tax law. Even in such cases, any VAT, GST, reverse charge accounting, filing, reporting, withholding tax, or other local tax treatment or payment obligation in the client’s jurisdiction remains the responsibility of the client.
Project timing depends on the agreed scope, available materials, source material readiness, schedule, review flow, client-side confirmation process, and availability.
Start dates, expected timing, milestones, and review points are agreed individually for each project.
An inquiry or initial discussion alone does not guarantee project acceptance, scheduling, or availability.
If a project is cancelled after agreement, cancellation fees or settlement for services already performed, preparation already undertaken, reserved capacity, or costs already incurred may apply.
Depending on the stage of the project, payments already made may be non-refundable in whole or in part.
Detailed rules on cancellation, suspension, termination, settlement, and refunds are set out in the relevant contract, statement of work, proposal, or the Business Terms of Service.
Unless otherwise agreed, the client is responsible for bank transfer fees, remittance fees, payment processing fees, and similar payment-related charges.
Where relevant, separately agreed costs such as external tool fees, subcontractor costs, or other project-specific expenses may also be charged.
