See what friction on your conversion flow may be costing you.
Small points of friction can feel real long before they are easy to explain or prioritise. This free estimator helps you make the possible amount being missed because of friction easier to see, using your own assumptions.
It can make the issue easier to frame, discuss internally, and take more seriously.

A rough number for a problem that often stays vague
A practical way to make possible opportunity loss easier to see when the issue still feels too vague to size, prioritise, or discuss across a wider team.
It uses your own traffic, conversion rates, deal value or LTV, and impact assumptions rather than a generic benchmark.
- Makes possible opportunity loss easier to see
- Puts a rough number next to the issue
- Makes internal discussion easier when the problem still feels vague

Estimate potential opportunity loss from friction in a conversion flow.
This estimate is based on the page or flow that leads users to a key conversion action, such as a contact form, demo request, or quote request.
- Monthly visits: whole number only.
- Rates: 0–100, up to 2 decimals.
- Deal value / LTV: up to 2 decimals.
- If CTA click rate is left blank, the estimate assumes your starting point is already the form or a later step in the flow.
How it estimates potential loss
- This estimator starts with Monthly visits and applies the conversion rates entered for each step, along with your average deal value or LTV, to estimate current opportunity value in the flow.
- Mode A (CTA + L2O included): Monthly visits × CTA click rate × form completion rate × lead-to-opportunity rate × close rate × average deal value or LTV.
- Mode B (CTA not included): Monthly visits × form completion rate × lead-to-opportunity rate × close rate × average deal value or LTV. The estimate assumes the starting point is already the form or a later step.
- Mode C (L2O not included): Monthly visits × CTA click rate × form completion rate × average deal value or LTV. The estimate uses a simplified path without lead-to-opportunity rate or close rate.
- Mode D (CTA + L2O not included): Monthly visits × form completion rate × average deal value or LTV. The estimate assumes the starting point is already the form, and uses a simplified path without lead-to-opportunity rate or close rate.
- The selected impact assumption is then applied to show a directional monthly and annual loss range. It is not a confirmed loss amount or a guaranteed recovery value.
Enter valid required values. If CTA click rate is left blank, the estimate assumes your starting point is already the form or a later step.
What this estimate can tell you — and what it cannot
What it can tell you
- Whether the issue may be worth taking more seriously
- A rough order of magnitude
- A starting point for internal discussion
- Whether a deeper review may be worth considering
What it cannot tell you
- The exact amount of loss
- A guaranteed business outcome
- Every cause of underperformance
- The exact changes that should be made
- Whether every friction point has been identified
If the possible amount being missed feels too large to ignore, the next question is where the friction is happening
This estimate can help you see that there may be a real business issue on the flow. But it does not show where the friction is happening, which parts of the page or form deserve closer review, or what should be changed next.
Find out where the friction — and accessibility gaps — are actually happening
Conversion Leak Estimator helps you see the possible scale of the issue. Conversion & Accessibility Review shows where UX friction and accessibility gaps are appearing on the actual flow, and which areas deserve closer attention first.
FAQ
Is the estimator free?
Yes. Conversion Leak Estimator is a free tool.
Do I need exact numbers to use it?
No. The estimator is still useful when your inputs are approximate. You do need valid values for the required fields, but they do not need to be exact confirmed numbers to be useful for internal discussion.
How is the estimate calculated?
The estimator uses your inputs to estimate opportunity value in the flow, then applies the impact assumption you selected to show an estimated monthly and annual loss range. The calculation path adjusts based on which optional inputs are provided. If both CTA click rate and lead-to-opportunity rate are entered, all steps are included: monthly visits × CTA click rate × form completion rate × lead-to-opportunity rate × close rate × average deal value or LTV. If CTA click rate is left blank, the estimate assumes your starting point is already the form or a later step. If lead-to-opportunity rate is left blank, the estimate uses a simplified path that skips the lead qualification and close rate steps — the result in that case is closer to an upper-bound figure than a realistic funnel estimate.
Is this an exact loss calculation?
No. It helps visualise the possible amount being missed because of friction, based on the assumptions you enter.
Does this tool tell me what to fix?
No. It helps you see the possible size of the issue. It does not tell you exactly what should change on the flow.
Do I need to use this before requesting Conversion & Accessibility Review?
No. The estimator is optional. You can request Conversion & Accessibility Review without using it first.
What happens after I see the estimate?
If you want clearer page-level visibility of where the friction and accessibility gaps are, the next step is Conversion & Accessibility Review.
Are my inputs stored?
Estimator inputs are used for on-screen calculation. If you later move into the Conversion & Accessibility Review request form, some values may be temporarily kept in your browser session so they can be carried into the form for convenience. They do not become submitted service data unless you actually send the request form.
You can now see the possible amount being missed.
Next, find out where the friction and accessibility gaps are.
If this estimate suggests that your conversion flow may be losing more than you expected,
the next step is Conversion & Accessibility Review — to see where friction and accessibility gaps are actually appearing, and which areas deserve closer attention first.
We temporarily keep your estimator values in this browser session so they can be carried into the Conversion & Accessibility Review request form. They are not submitted unless you send the form.
Important information
- Conversion Leak Estimator is a free reference tool for visualising potential opportunity loss on pages, forms, and conversion flows.
- Any figure, range, or opportunity-loss indication shown here is based on your inputs and assumptions, not a confirmed loss amount, guaranteed business result, or definitive measurement.
- Using this tool alone does not create a contract for Conversion & Accessibility Review, Frontend Implementation Support, or any other paid service.
- Estimator inputs are used for on-screen calculation and are not stored in our database at the estimator stage. If you continue into a request form, some values may be temporarily kept in your browser session and carried into the form for convenience. They become submitted service data only if you send the request form.
- Neither this tool nor any related service guarantees that all opportunity loss can be identified, eliminated, or recovered.
